Limestone Crushing Production Process Overview
A limestone crushing production line is systematically organized into three stages: coarse crushing, medium/fine crushing, and screening.
Stage 1: Coarse Crushing
Quarried limestone is uniformly fed via a vibrating feeder and silo system into a jaw crusher. This primary stage reduces the raw stone into coarse aggregates.
Stage 2: Medium/Fine Crushing
The coarsely crushed material are transferred via belt conveyor to the impact crushers for further size reduction, producing intermediate and fine aggregates.
Stage 3: Screening & Recirculation
The crushed material is transported to a vibrating screen for final sorting into distinct size classifications. Aggregates meeting the customer’s specified particle size requirements are routed to finished-product stockpiles via belt conveyors. Oversized material is recirculated to an impact crusher for additional processing, creating a closed-loop circuit that optimizes efficiency and minimizes waste.
